Axa Investment Managers has announced two appointments to its Responsible Investment team, aimed at strengthening its capabilities and expertise. Mariana Villanueva is appointed ESG Analyst. She will work on cross-cutting topics such as biodiversity and the analysis of green and sustainable bonds. She was previously credit analyst within the Axa group.
Matthieu Firmian is appointed ESG analyst. He will provide thematic analysis on ESG topics, with particular emphasis on social topics, contributing to the various engagement initiatives with companies. He was previously product manager at Aviva Investors France.
Bass Paris and reporting Virginie Derue, head of ESG Research, they will both support Axa IM’s research and active engagement initiatives.
