Clear statement: Only a few weeks after the end of the “Bachelorette” season, Maxime Herbord and Raphael go their separate ways again.
But no happy ending! Maxime Herbord, 27, has no luck in love. It wasn’t until February that she made the separation from David Friedrich, 31, official, after the two had been together for two years. As a bachelorette, she gave her last rose in the final (September 2021) to Raphael Fasching, 23. Since then, fans have speculated whether the two are a couple or not. Now Raphael comments on the rumors via Instagram – and Maxime also makes a statement shortly afterwards.

Raphael begins his video on Instagram for a long time, thinking about how best to tell his community. “Since the show with Frauke Ludowig I have had almost no contact with Maxime – unfortunately god. She has withdrawn quite a bit,” said the 23-year-old. He himself had no clarity as to whether Maxime would like to get to know him further. “I was able to reach her a few days ago this week – and yes, we spoke out and came to the decision that we would not get to know each other because I currently have no place in her life,” explains Raphael, his Disappointment is clearly noticeable. But he wishes Maxime “all the best”.
“Unfortunately you can’t force feelings”
A short time later, Maxime also expresses himself about the end of the time together with Raphael. The feelings were simply not enough, so that “getting to know each other properly” could not turn into a serious relationship, according to the 27-year-old in her story on Instagram. “Unfortunately, you can’t force feelings – no matter how much you want that. I’ve had to admit that on our way over the last few days and weeks,” admits the “Bachelorette”. For the future she wishes Raphael all the best and hopes that he will find a woman “who can give him what he is ready to give”. So the two apparently part on good terms.
Both on the road as “singles”
Last weekend, Maxime and Raphael’s community speculated about a possible love affair. The reason: on October 9th, many “Bachelorette” boys came together in Stuttgart to celebrate Lars Maucher’s 25th birthday. There were also Julian Dannemann, Max Adrio and Jonathan Steinig – and also Maxime’s winner Raphael. To a selfie with Raphael and Julian, Jonathan wrote: “We’re all single, ladies! Attack!” Quite a straightforward comment.
The 27-year-old Maxime also recently posted a photo that caused a stir. There she can be seen with ex-Bachelorette Nadine Klein, 36, in a dirndl. Nadine wears her bow on the right, which stands for “forgiven”. Maxime, on the other hand, tied her bow on the left – that irritates her followers: inside. “Oh man, the loop on the left,” writes a fan, alluding to whether Maxime is single. Strictly speaking, she and Raphael were never officially together. At the big reunion with all the participants in the dating show, they told presenter Frauke Ludowig that they “wanted to get to know each other in peace”. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out: Now the love affair between the two has been confirmed.
