The Backstreet Boys are postponing the release of their Christmas album to 2022. Their Christmas show in Las Vegas has also been canceled.

Disappointing news for all Backstreet Boys fans: The boy band has canceled their announced Christmas show in Las Vegas, “A Very Backstreet Christmas Party”, and also postponed the release of their Christmas album.

It says on Instagram: “For the past six months we’ve been working hard on our next creative project, a Backstreet Boys Christmas album […] We believe this is one of our best creations and that this creation deserves the best possible scenario and setup for success. “

Since the corona pandemic is currently still causing restrictions in travel, the five musicians Howie Dorough (48), Alexander James McLean (43), Nick Carter (41), Brian Littrell (46) and Kevin Richardson (49) have joined them decided to “wait until 2022 to release our Christmas album and cancel our limited Christmas show in Las Vegas”.

Tickets are refundable

The Backstreet Boys are disappointed, but they know “it’s for the best and we can’t wait to share the magic of this album with all of you”. Tickets for the previously announced Las Vegas show will be refunded at the relevant sales outlets.
