While the protracted writers’ strike ended in September 2023, an agreement for the striking actors is not expected until December.
There will also be a new showrunner in the 20th season of the successful medical series, Meg Marinis, who will replace Krista Vernoff in her position. What’s surprising is that if the short anniversary season is actually well received by viewers, the upcoming productions of “Grey’s Anatomy” may also be released in a shortened form.
