Despite an uncertain and volatile economic climate, this first half was marked by the continuation of the upward trend in the electronics market and by the maintenance of a good level in the market for high-power LED headlights intended for the automotive sector. The success of the integration of Mathym is confirmed, with a dynamic recovery of sales in the dental market since the beginning of the year.
On the other hand, the traditional lighting market, which has been in decline for several years, has shown a marked decline since the beginning of the half-year, the rise in energy costs making these products, in the eyes of the end customer, less and less attractive .
The consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, which seems to be over a long period of time, and central bank policies to contain global inflation are degrading the economic outlook for the second half, without calling into question the underlying trend our main markets.
