Baldur’s Gate 3 is also the most played game on Steam Deck


Valve has revealed the list of the 100 most played games on Steam Deck over the past 12 months, showing that even the most demanding games are widely played on Valve’s portable PC console.

To mark the launch of the spring sales on Steam (help, my backlog), Valve revealed the list of the 100 most played games on the Steam Deck, its machine which launched the entire current market for portable PC consoles.

Despite its power deficit compared to its competitors like the Asus ROG Ally or the Lenovo Legion Go, Steam Deck players remain very fond of games that sometimes bring the largest PCs to their knees.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is also the most played game on Steam Deck

The list of the most played games on Steam Deck includes a variety of titles like the Steam catalog, including both very demanding AAA blockbusters and independent gems perfect for the device’s format.

So, Baldur’s Gate 3 tops the list of most played games on Valve’s portable PC console. If the multi-award winning RPG from Larian Studios has worked on its gameplay on controller for the console versions, we doubt that the experience will be as conclusive on the 8-inch screen of the Steam Deck, but that does not seem to stop players.

In the rest of the list, we also find Hogwarts Legacy, the RPG game in the Harry Potter universe which at least has the merit of running better than on Nintendo Switch. Another RPG, Elden Ring, is also present in 5th place, which remains a benchmark of choice for the Steam Deck. The rest of the list is of the same ilk, with very demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2 and the immortal GTA 5.

Independent games, more technically modest, also make up the majority in this list. We think of Vampire Survivors And Dave The Diverrespectively in second and third place, but also in Stardew Valley which remains in this Top 10. The recent collective addiction Balatro is also in 20th place, among other titles like Slay The Spire, Dead Cells And Hades.
