The title is already playable in Early Access on PC but many players are waiting for the arrival of the final version next August, we will find JK Simmons in the role of the general Ketheric Thormbut the other main antagonist will be played by an equally prestigious actor.
Developers took advantage of Summer Game Fest 2023 to announce that Jason Isaacs will play Lord Enver Gortashcreator of Steel Guards. The actor, best known for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the saga Harry Potterwill lend his voice to the big villain of Baldur’s Gate 3. Jason Isaacs comments:
It was a pleasure to join the Baldur’s Gate universe, but I’m afraid the magnificent Lord Enver Gortash will be mistakenly cast as a villain. In a brutal world of betrayal and slaughter, he simply learned to lie better and stab in the back first. The fun of performing him – aside from the obvious fun of looking so great – is that the creative team and I were able to let loose enough to have fun and make players hate him. even more !
