BASF: hydrogen station project with H2 Mobility

(CercleFinance.com) – German chemical giant BASF announced on Wednesday that it plans to build a hydrogen refueling station with its compatriot H2 Mobility which should be commissioned in the fourth quarter in Frankenthal, in the south -west of the country.

The two groups specify in a press release that the station should initially have a capacity of 700 to 800 kilograms per day, or a level sufficient to supply around thirty buses.

Faced with rapidly expanding demand within the region, particularly from heavy goods vehicles, the center’s capacity should then double by 2027.

According to the partners, the site will benefit from a ‘strategic’ and ‘easily accessible’ position for logistics carriers due to its proximity to the A6 motorway.
