The launch of Battlefield 2042 in 2021 will have been complicated. Players encountered a bunch of technical issues, EA Games And DICE tried to redress the situation and still published seven Seasons, the latest having been launched last month. But it’s now the end.
In a note on the game’s official website, signed by franchise general manager Byron Beede, Electronic Arts And DICE announce that there Season 7: Breaking Point will be the last of Battlefield 2042. THE FPS will still be entitled to challenges, events, modes and maintenance updates, but the bulk of the content is now behind it. The studios explain that they want to look towards the future of the franchise, to do this they are calling on another team ofEA Games. Motivation Studio will create a team to support DICE, Criterion And Ripple Effect in the development of the universe Battlefieldwith connected single-player and multiplayer experiences. Motivation Studio as a reminder, stood out by developing Star Wars: Squadrons and the remake of Dead Spacehe is currently working on a game Iron Man.
