Bayonetta 3 hit by censorship, the witch must stay dressed

PlatinumGames seems to have calmed down and is going to censor Bayonetta 3 with a new feature that will prevent the witch from losing all her clothes so as not to shock some of the public. An optional novelty.

Bayonetta 3 will arrive in October with a nice collector. But unlike the other two games, the witch will have to refrain from tearing her suit at all costs. This is the “no nudity” mode.

Bayonetta 3 has a mode to remove nudity

Nudity in Bayonetta 3 won’t be for everyone. For this third part, the developers of PlatinumGames wanted to slow down so as not to disturb part of the public. Suddenly, they had the idea of the “Naive Angel” mode which opposes any striptease.

Relax, the witch is back and sexier than ever. We’ve added the revolutionary “Naive Angel” mode for more people to enjoy. By activating it, you can play in the living room without worrying about what’s on the screen… we think.

Seen in the clip above, when the witch surrounds her body with her hair, the censored mode will completely cover her in her latex catsuit. Conversely, the normal version shows her body without clothing, but without displaying her private parts. In the second excerpt, during a transformation, the chest is further hidden by more tissue.

PlatinumGames does not specify if this anti-nudity option is their idea, or if their partner Nintendo has campaigned to integrate such a feature. But anyway, it’s not mandatory one way or the other. That way no one will be a loser in the story.

Bayonetta 3 will be released on October 28, 2022 for Nintendo Switch.
