NYX Born to Glow Foundation

I love Foundation. However, I'm not a fan of heavy textures at all that leave a sticky film on my skin. If they are so pasty that they nip any natural glow in the bud, I am finally out of the make-up game. I was accordingly curious about the brand new Born to Glow Foundation from NYX, which promises medium coverage and a naturally radiant finish. Long story short: I'm in love!

Fashion and beauty editor Ann tested NYX's Born to glow Foundation.

The foundation is very easy to apply, is super light in texture and blends perfectly with the skin. However, what I was most excited about is that it easily covers minor blemishes and redness and still gives my skin a natural glow that lasts all day. My face doesn't look "clogged" at all, but nice and fresh and healthy. Definitely a recommendation from me! The Born to Glow Foundation costs around 11 euros and is available from Douglas, among others.

Fenty Beauty Full Frontal Volume Lift & Curl Mascara

Aren't we all constantly looking for the perfect mascara? One that not only lengthens the eyelashes, but also gets them going. The swing lasts all day long, the mascara does not crumble and the brush has the perfect shape. Well, unfortunately I haven't found it yet. It was very clear that I had to try the new Fenty Beauty Full Frontal Volume Lift & Curl Mascara. It has such an extraordinary brush that my curiosity for beauty was immediately aroused. Super flat and extremely wide – that's how the mascara brush from Rihanna comes about. The broad side should wash the eyelashes neatly black, while the flat side provides definition and momentum. Everything sounds super convincing in theory, but in practice it disappointed me. The special brush is a bit too unusual to be really practical. Its wide side is much too big for my rather small eyes, so it was almost impossible to wash my eyelashes without having spread black mascara spots on my eyelid. After that my eyelashes weren't particularly voluminous, but my eye make-up was completely ruined – super annoying! With the flat side, the lower lash line can be defined very well, but the rudder no longer turns around for me. So my search for the perfect mascara – should it really exist – continues.

Tarte glow wall

As soon as it says "Glow" somewhere, I just can't help it. I have to try the product. What is special about the Shape Tape Glow Wand from tarte: It is a concealer that should be used either alone or in combination with an opaque concealer. The light-reflecting pigments should ensure that the eye area shines. And she really does. I tried the Glow Wand both alone and in combination with other concealers. Alone it really has minimal opacity (which is enough for me), but I look so damn fresh with it. Man oh man! With another concealer above, the effect is no longer as strong, especially if you then apply powder over it. I can also wear the Glow Wand without powder and I love the fresh effect. In my eyes, a perfect product for vacation or people with a dry eye area. You can get it exclusively from Sephora for around 25 euros.
