After the alarm has stopped and we’ve roused ourselves, the morning routine begins: Cozy slippers are put on, we shuffle to the bathroom, take a look in the mirror, and then – oh no, pimple alarm! The inner scream is particularly loud, especially when an important appointment is coming up and a flawless impression is desired, right?
We quickly reach for the brush or the make-up sponge to hide the nasty culprit. But unfortunately it doesn’t always work the way we want, even with foundation or concealer. But not anymore! We present you the ultimate trick with which you can cover your pimples perfectly so that nothing “shows through” anymore.
Beauty trick: easy coverage
All you need for this trick is a loose powder in your skin tone and a brush to apply it. For the ultimate savings tip, you can find good powder products in the drugstore starting at around 2 euros. Are you ready? Dip your chosen brush into the powder to absorb the product, then tap off the excess on the edge of the lid. Start by gently dabbing the powder onto the affected area and then pat it in lightly with a finger. But we haven’t reached the final end result yet!
The pimple is still clearly visible, even under the light layer of powder? No problem! For the next step, grab your daily concealer. Use the applicator to carefully dab four small dots around the pimple and let the creamy product take effect for about 5 minutes.
Now comes the final touches…
Now use a thin brush to blend the outer points of the concealer by gently smudging them. Make sure to blend the concealer well around the outer areas. Are all transitions blinded? Then you can easily apply the product to the outside of the pimple and blend it out. To ensure that everything stays in place, you can finally use a setting spray and even add a little glow moment. Et voila! Now you can continue your make-up as normal, for example with the foundation of your choice.
