Next employee sues Tesla
Tesla faces another sexual harassment lawsuit. An employee accuses the automaker of not doing anything about a misogynist environment at the main US plant. In addition, she is now exposed to retaliation at her workplace.
The US electric car pioneer Tesla is being sued by an employee for sexual harassment for the second time in less than a month. Both lawsuits criticize a “hostile work environment” towards women at the US plant. A band worker accused Tesla managers of “ongoing and ubiquitous” harassment, according to court documents on Wednesday. Her superior hugged or massaged her while he made tasteless remarks at the same time.
After complaining to the human resources department, she is now subject to retaliation. Tesla and other accused have failed to take action against the sexual harassment and retribution. Tesla initially did not respond to a written request for comment.
It was not until November 18 that another Tesla employee took legal action against the company and complained of sexual harassment at the main plant in Fremont, California. In October, a black former contract worker was awarded $ 137 million in damages for racism in the workplace.
