Announced during the Xbox Partner Preview, the new title from Inverge Studios Creatures of Ava
is scheduled for release in 2024 and will be available on PC and Xbox Series. It will also be playable directly via the Game Pass subscription.
Creatures of Ava takes players to a distant planet, Ava. But as a terrible infection spreads there, you will have to help all the creatures that inhabit this world to escape it. Here, there is no question of catching local critters for your collection. It’s just a matter of saving them from disaster, out of pure compassion.
To better understand what creatures perceive, you can use your flutist skills. Indeed, music is at the heart of all communications here and you will therefore have to learn to master the traditional flute of the local people. A talent that will also allow you to ask for help from different creatures to help you solve certain puzzles.
Of course, in addition to trying everything to save the local fauna, it will also be possible to investigate the infection that is invading the planet Ava and try to stop it.
Creatures of Ava seeks at all costs to avoid outbreaks of violence. This is why if the infection makes the creatures aggressive, the title offers a non-violent combat mechanic. What is called combat here is really just dodging attacks from disease-affected creatures while absorbing the infection out of their bodies. Here, the life of all critters is sacred and there is no question of hurting them.
