(AOF) – Believe has acquired a 51% stake in Jo & Co, one of the main independent labels specializing in pop and variety. The Group is thus consolidating its position on the French market, the sixth largest market in the world (Source MiDIA 2020), while continuing to diversify its catalog. This operation will allow Jo & Co to accelerate its digital growth while retaining its own artistic direction. The amount of this acquisition has not been disclosed.
Jo & Co will benefit from Believe’s technological innovation and digital expertise to accelerate its digital transition. Jo & Co artists will now have access to all the solutions developed by Believe to increase their audiences and maximize their digital monetization in France and internationally.
Believe will also ensure the distribution of all the artists of the label and will be able to support the artists of the label to develop their branding and live activities.
