Berge-Einsatz – Parked car rolled into the Glan in Salzburg

A small car crashed into the Glan in the city of Salzburg at around 7.30 p.m. on Monday evening. The Salzburg professional fire brigade rushed to the scene of the incident on Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse and got the vehicle out of the water. The police gave the all-clear: there was no person in the vehicle. Rather, it should have been a parked car.

One driver must have forgotten the handbrake: According to the police, the car rolled independently into the Glan, the “Krone” said when asked. In any case, there was no person inside the vehicle. The professional fire brigade recovered it with the help of a crane. The amount of property damage is unknown.
