Bettina Wulff enjoys the third attempt at love with Christian. What her former partner Jan Behnken thinks about it.
You want to put an exclamation mark. When Bettina Wulff, 48, appeared in Hanover for the “75 Years of Lower Saxony” ceremony, the visibly good-humored former first lady was wearing a purple case dress. And former Federal President Christian Wulff, 62, has perfectly matched the color of his tie to her look. The unmistakable message: We belong together! It is the couple’s third attempt at love, who made their rediscovered love public in the summer.
Jan Behnken: “I was not surprised by our separation back then”
Before that, Bettina Wulff was with the music teacher Jan Behnken for two years, then their relationship broke up. With a little distance Behnken now says to GALA: “I was not surprised by our separation back then.” He felt that his girlfriend still had strong feelings for her ex-husband, whom she divorced in January 2020. Despite their separation, Jan Behnken and Bettina Wulff still have good contact to this day. He continues to teach Linus, the son of Bettina and Christian Wulff, on drums.

Christian + Bettina Wulff: Third wedding?
With the Wulffs, on the other hand, the sky is currently full of violins. In Hanover, there is even speculation about a third wedding – after the civil ceremony in 2008 and the church ceremony in 2015. “I wouldn’t be surprised,” says Behnken. And he already had the right nose.
