Between horror and morbid realism, Autopsy Simulator will be released in November

The least we can say is thatAutopsy Simulator threw a hell of a chill. The few sound plans trailerall in traveling on his autopsy tables covered with charred corpses and other exposed viscera, can actually make us fear a most doubtful morbidity. And yet, the Polish studio Woodland Games claims to have wanted to make the most serious and useful game there is. Written in collaboration with real forensic pathologists, the simulator makes us take on, in first-person view, the role of a pathologist, responsible for dissecting corpses to determine the cause of their death, and thus advancing science on the many mysteries of death.

In addition to this free mode called “Autopsy alone”, the game will be accompanied by a scripted campaign, called “Dead Memories”. Presented as a first psychological experience (with the apparent air of a thriller à la Seven), this narrative will follow the fate of a pathologist in New Orleans in the 90s. Traumatized by a past tragedy, he will be confronted with a series of operations post mortem more and more morbid, pushing him to investigate their origin, which should lead to a terrible secret.

First scalpel blow on Steam next November.
