Between-two-round debate: Laurent Ruquier makes fun of Gilles Bouleau and adores Léa Salamé

This Saturday, April 23, in We are live, Laurent Ruquier did not fail to say what he thought of the performances of Gilles Bouleau and Léa Salamé during the debate between the two rounds. One took for his rank, the other received praise.

Touched flowed. Laurent Ruquier did not, as usual, mince his words to say what he thought. This Saturday April 23the presenter of We are live on France 2 briefly mentioned the debate between the two rounds which pitted Emmanuel Macron against Marine Le Pen.

Laurent Ruquier however could not drag on the subject since since this Friday April 22 midnight began the reserve period, i.e. the period during which it is forbidden for the candidates, the government, the supporters of the two parties but also the media to discuss the candidacies for the presidential election. The goal is not to influence voters just before the vote.

“He struggles not to sink poor Gilles Bouleau”

Unable to speak and judge the two candidates, Laurent Ruquier thus fell back on the presenters of the debate: his faithful co-host, Léa Salamé and Gilles Bouleau. Obviously, Léa Salamé was over-congratulated by her sidekick, and Gilles Bouleau, well down : “I would still like to come back to last Wednesday’s debate but without talking about the two candidates, I reassure everyone, but speaking of the duo of presenters” introduced Laurent Ruquier before coming to the compliments to Léa Salamé: I only had eyes for your presence during this debate, I was a bit like a jealous companion, I have watched your every move.”

The host continued by comparing the two presenters between the two rounds, without failing to openly mock Gilles Bouleau, who, poor thing, was not there to defend himself: “You stayed awake from start to finish during the three hours of debate, while he got a little tired… He fell asleep more and more: we saw him struggle against sleep. It does not get better over the course of the exchanges. He struggles not to sink poor Gilles Bouleau.” he criticized proudly.

Easier to judge than to do.
