A few days before the start of the BFMTV season, Marc-Olivier Fogiel announced a big change for the morning show. Viewers will discover a brand new set.
Marc-Olivier Fogiel hopes for a season up to the previous one. In 2021-2022, the news channel will continue to achieve unprecedented audiences, with an audience share of 3.3%. “Our chain is solid, even more than last year. Its competitors are far behind. We shouldn’t rest on our laurels, but there’s nothing to worry about”assures the boss of BFMTV in the columns of Parisianthis Saturday, August 20. To continue this momentum, Marc-Olivier Fogiel will make several major changes from the start of the school year.starting with the morning, which is for him “the big issue” since the “audiences are a hit”. “To continue its development, we are going to completely review its set”, warns the boss of BFMTV in the columns of our colleagues.
Adeline François and Christophe Delay’s new set “will be very open, with wood, allowing the team to travel again”. “Its codes will be closer to a news program than a news slice. It’s a big investment for us”assures Marc-Olivier Fogiel, who also reports the arrival of a brand new column at 6:40 and 7:40 a.m. on a “story of the day” presented by Angèle Chatelier. With Le Parisien, Marc-Olivier Fogiel was also questioned about the conclusions of the internal investigation launched after the complaint filed against Jean-Jacques Bourdin. “They are not intended to be made public, he first assured. (…) My stake is now the future. In recent years, we have been able to prepare the sequel and promote a new generation of credible and popular journalists.”
Marc-Olivier Fogiel soon back on the air?

As the start of the school year approaches, Marc-Olivier Fogiel also opened the door to a possible return to the air. “I had forbidden myself during these three years to mix genres by doing it while running the channel. I discussed it with Arthur Dreyfuss (the CEO of Altice Media, editor’s note) recently. He asked me not to no longer forbid metold the boss of BFMTV. I could therefore be called upon to go on the air very occasionally, for interviews. It will only be done if the opportunity arises and if it is the best solution for the chain. But there are enough in-house talents for that to remain a hypothesis.” The suspense remains intact.
