Biathlon World Cup: the double for the French Braisaz-Bouchet, first, ahead of Simon on the individual ladies

Frenchwoman Justine Braisaz-Bouchet won the Individual (15 km) of Anterselva (Italy) on Friday, counting for the Biathlon World Cup, ahead of her compatriot Julia Simon.

Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (25) signed her first success of the season and the third of her career, filling up with confidence two weeks before the Beijing Olympics (February 4-20).

The Frenchwoman’s last victory dated back to December 5, 2019 (Individual in Ostersund in Sweden) and she had only been on the podium once since the start of winter.

Julia Simon made her ski do the talking, after an average start and two missed rifle shots. The native of Albertville has caught up and signs her fourth podium of the season.
