According to the official AVM website, the update is around 65 megabytes in size and includes, among other things, some improvements to previous FritzOS versions. This includes, for example, a new energy-saving mode with which you can use WLAN, LAN and USB in a particularly energy-saving manner with reduced performance. The model also now supports VPN with WireGuard, which allows you to set up VPN on your FritzBox even faster and easier, according to AVM.
The ability to block unknown callers directly provides more “telephone convenience”. This is certainly an important feature for many, as it allows you to stop or at least greatly reduce telephone terror.
