big PS5 and PS4 games to try for free

Three new big PS5 and PS4 games can be tested for free by PS Plus Premium subscribers. There’s Star Wars, Bethesda, and a tactical shooting tip.

In just a few days, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to pick up all three free December games, including the remastered Mass Effect trilogy. Those who have opted for the Premium and Extra formulas will benefit from new additions to the catalog that are still kept secret. Pending an official announcement in the middle of the month, Sony has just added three new big games to test for free on PS5 and PS4 thanks to PS Plus Premium.

Three free demos in PS Plus Premium December 2022

The year is ending on a high note for PS5 and PS4 players. While the PS Store is once again welcoming a much-requested feature to find all the demos in the store in a flash, the PS Plus Premium is quietly adding three new free trials. It is therefore Ghostwire Tokyo, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Sniper Elite 5 which can be tested for one hour each by the subscribers of the highest formula, only to be able to take advantage of this advantage.

It’s clearly shorter than some PS Plus Premium demos, but it’s still better than nothing. For example, Dying Light 2 was added for the Halloween period with a more generous three-hour test, while some titles like Cyberpunk 2077 could be played for around four hours. For the record, Ghostwire Tokyo is a temporary PS5 exclusive where supernatural forces have invaded the streets of Tokyo. It’s up to players to find out why the entire population has disappeared using an arsenal of elemental skills. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga includes a humorous adaptation of all nine films of the license playable in solo or in coop.

Equally eloquent by its title, Sniper Elite 5 combines infiltration and tactical shooting and this time takes Karl Fairburne right into the heart of Operation Kraken in France in 1944. In addition to these free demos, PS Plus Premium subscribers will benefit from new retro or classic games towards the end of the month. If they have not yet been officially announced, a classic PSP could enter the catalog in December 2022.
