Bilal Hassani: the new juror of Dancing with the stars reveals to have been raped in 2019

It is a moving testimony that Bilal Hassani made on TF1, which will be broadcast this Sunday, September 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Sept à Huit. The new Dancing with the Stars juror spoke emotionally about the rape he suffered in 2019.

On Twitter, an excerpt from the show seven to eight of this Sunday, September 11 was unveiled, revealing a touching and vulnerable Bilal Hassani. the brand new member of the jury ofDance with the stars recently confided in the flagship journalist of TF1, Audrey Crespo-Mara, as he has never done.

The singer evokes for the very first time the rape he suffered in 2019 and, moved, talks about it with his words and his sincerity. When the journalist seven to eight begins to broach the subject, Bilal Hassani inspires, and agrees to talk about it: It’s something that’s been haunting me since the year it happened. It was in 2019″he introduced, before announcing that the aggressor was someone from “his circle”in whom he “had confidence”.

Bilal Hassani “It was a rape. Here it is”

The singer then explained the course of this famous evening, where the rape took place: “We left in the evening. And I came back from this evening with him. I had drunk, two-three glasses, but I did not feel what you feel when you only drink two-three glasses”he assured, before affirming: “I was clearly under the influence of a substance that I had not wanted to take”.

Not without difficulty, the interpreter of Kinghas followed : I started having blackouts, times when I lost my memory. And I was waking up, and it was happening, which can translate to sexual assault. It was rape. So”. He later confided his reaction after realizing what had happened: “I said to myself, ‘Don’t ask questions, don’t say anything, move on, move on'”.

When Audrey Crespo-Mara asks him why he did not want to file a complaint, Bilal initially replies that he does not “could not” : I did not feel the courage to speak in public. And that’s the only time I’m going to do it”he warned, before giving a second reason for his silence: “I didn’t want to give a new string to feed the hatred I receive. If I had filed a complaint, it would have been known, fairly quickly, and it would have become the subject”he concluded.
