Birth of Victoire Ducruet: what place does she occupy in the order of succession to the throne of Monaco?

This Tuesday, April 4, Marie and Louis Ducruet gave birth to their first child, Victoire, a healthy little girl. The new member of the royal family is obviously back in the order of succession to the throne of Monaco. But at what position?

The Monaco family has grown. This Tuesday, April 4, at 6:15 p.m., Marie Ducruet gave birth to her very first child. Something to delight the whole family of the happy grandmother Stéphanie of Monaco, who did not hesitate to congratulate the parents, including her gender, Louis Ducruet, for having done such a great job. Just like Albert of Monaco, who let his happiness explode in front of a crowd of journalists during an official trip to the Rainier III Auditorium.

Three days later, the happy couple of parents announced the name of their first child on their Instagram account. “Our little family has grown with the arrival of our little Victoire”, they wrote in the caption of a photo showing the maternity bracelet worn by the little girl. Victoire Ducret, who is a healthy infant, made Stéphanie of Monaco a fulfilled grandmother. And her first name is absolutely not due to chance: Victoire is the name of Louis Ducruet’s grandmother.

Victoire Ducruet is 16th in line of succession to the throne of Monaco

Born in the hospital room reserved for the royal family, the little Victoire Ducruet obviously automatically entered the order of succession to the throne of Monaco. Barring a foreseeable cataclysm, she will obviously never be in post, because many people are ahead of her in the waiting list.

In front of her, in order, are: Jacques de Monaco, Gabriella de Monaco, Caroline Grimaldi, Andrea Casiraghi, Sacha Casiraghi, Maximilian Casiraghi, India Casiraghi, Pierre Casiraghi, Stefano Casiraghi, Francesco Casiraghi, Charlotte Casiraghi, Balthazar Rassam, Alexandra from Hanover, Stéphanie Grimaldi and her dad, Louis Ducruet. Little Victoire Ducruet is therefore in 16th position, far from the stress of the crown.
