In Grenoble, several complaints have been filed by people who have felt unwell during parties, following mysterious bites noted by doctors. A phenomenon also reported in other cities.
He had to spend an evening “posed” in a night club. Three friends, a few beers, and some music “commercial”, essential “to dance until dawn”. But around 10:30 p.m., the plans of Leo (1), 19, will suddenly take another turn. “I felt tremors all over my body, and my head started throbbing violently. I immediately said to myself that it could not be the fact of alcohol, because I had still hardly drunk anything ”, remembers the young man. Quickly, he and his friends decide to leave this establishment “known by all the partygoers of Grenoble”. Barely feet outside, Leo collapses, like “hit by the ground”. “I no longer had the strength to stand up. I was then convinced that I had been drugged,” he details at Release.
Drugs, the Grenoble-Alpes University Hospital did not however detect any when Leo took samples. “We only found a small spot on my thigh, as if someone had stung me there. It surprised me, because I didn’t feel anything right away.” he testifies. Remains then for the young man an enigma, “terrifying” : what substance was he administered during this evening? “As of now, I still don’t know. But, by prevention, I am a treatment against HIV”,he concludes.
