Bloodhunt was not especially highly anticipated, but its release can be called a success. Many players, curious, tried the experience and were quite seduced by this battle royale taking place in the universe of Vampire: The Masquerade. What’s more, the developers were quite responsive, quickly implementing things requested by the community, such as a duo mode and a ranked mode. But many other things will be available later.
Indeed, in an article tracing what the release taught the developers, on the official website, we can read that new characters, new maps and special modes will be available later. We don’t have a release window, but the studio would like to point out that its ” approach favors quality over quantity “.
Apart from letting his community know that new and exciting things will be coming, Sharkmob explains that it has adopted a new way of creating characterswhich will speed up the process, and therefore discover new archetypes more often.
Finally, the studio returns to several other points, in particular the release of the ranked mode, reassuring the players on the waiting times which can be long. This should get rectified, with changes made internally to how matchmaking was handled.
Bloodhunt is, as a reminder, available on PC, through Steam, and PlayStation 5. No release on Xbox is currently scheduled.
