The two anime series “Blue Period” and “Komi Can’t Communicate” have been on Netflix since October 2021. The streamer showed you the new episodes for just a few weeks after Japan premiere in simulcast. The German-language dubbing for “Blue Period” is now available to hear from the streaming giant, “Komi Can’t Communicate” will soon also get a German soundtrack.
In “Blue Period” discovers a hopeless student his passion for painting. Since then he has been working toward his dream of attending art school. But the Entrance exams are not easy and as a beginner, Yatora lacks routine. The CSC studio was responsible for the synchronization of “Blue Period”.
Flemming Stein voices the role of Yatora Yaguchi. You can also hear Stein as a hacker in “Akudama Drive”. In the role of crossdresser Ryuuji Ayukawa aka Yuka you hear the voice of Samina König, who also speaks Shana in “Shakugan no Shana” and Nadine Schreier (Diane in “The Seven Deadly Sins”) lends her voice to Mayu Ooba.
The German dubbing of “Komi Can’t Comminicate” is not yet available from the streamer and is being created in the Berlin studios of VSI Synchron GmbH. In the anime series, the apparently unapproachable school beauty Komi a problem. Arrived due to insane communication failure hardly a word passed her lips. Her classmate Tadano wants to help her.
You can hear Rieke Werner in the role of Shouko Komi. The experienced voice actress is also known to you as Chika Fujiwara in “Kaguya-sama: Love is War”. Christian indicator (Shoyo Hinata on “Haikyu!!”) lends his voice to Hitohito Tadano, while Friederike Walke (Cara Dune on “The Mandalorian”) voices the genderless character Najimi Osana.
While the release date of the German episodes of the anime series is not known, new season 2 episodes of “Komi Can’t Communicate” will follow in March 2022.
