(Boursier.com) — BNP Paribas REIM is investing in mountain tourism with the acquisition on behalf of the SCPI Accimmo Pierre of a top-of-the-range holiday village located in the resort of Alpe d’Huez, in the Grands Rousses massif, in Isère (38). This asset was acquired from Lagune, an investment vehicle dedicated to leisure managed by BATIPART.

Operated by Club Med since its opening in the 1980s, the village underwent a major renovation and extension program in 2019 allowing the operator to move the establishment upmarket from 3 to 4 tridents, in line with Club Med’s overall strategy. Located at an altitude of 1,860 meters and at the foot of the ski area, the asset offers 442 rooms over 38,400 m(2).
This “ski in-ski out” resort offers its guests a premium experience with a magnificent panorama of the Alps. Club Med Alpe d’Huez meets the expectations of all holidaymakers, summer and winter alike, by offering mountain-related sports activities (ski and snowboard school, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, etc.) as well as well-being (aquatic areas, spa, hammam, yoga, pilates, etc.).

Certified BREEAM Good and Green Globe, the asset incorporates environmental performance issues and meets the requirements of SCPI Accimmo Pierre, which recently obtained SRI (Socially Responsible Investment) labelling.
