“He was everything to us and we want to tell you how much he loved his fans, playing in public and bringing people from all walks of life together through laughter”, adds the press release, published by the magazine People. The circumstances of death remain unclear. Nevertheless, “No sign of crime or drug use” was not found, says the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Bob Saget, 65, rose to fame playing Danny Tanner, a widowed father of three daughters, whose twins played by sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, in the soap opera the Party at home. Shortly after the announcement of his death, tributes abounded from the cast of the series. In a statement relayed by American media, the Olsen sisters say they are “Deeply saddened” by this disappearance. “Bob was the most loving, the most compassionate and the most generous man”, they write, adding that he “Will continue to be by our side to guide us as graciously as he always has”.
