Boba Fett’s Book: After Black Krrsantan – Will We See Doctor Aphra On Disney + Soon?

THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT

“The Book of Boba Fett” on Disney + delighted fans with the first live-action appearance of the wookie Black Krrsantan. So his mate Doctor Aphra can’t be far away, right?

  • “The Book of Boba Fett” introduces a new bounty hunter in the second episode on Disney +: Black Krrsantan.
  • The Wookie is a close ally of the archaeologist Doctor Aphra in the comics.
  • Will Aphra, who is very popular with fans, appear in one of the upcoming episodes?

In the 2nd episode of “The Book of Boba Fett” with the title “The Tribes of Tatooine”, Boba meets a Wookie who should be known to fans of the expanded “Star Wars” cosmos. Black Krrsantan is a comic book bounty hunter who previously worked for Darth Vader, much like Boba Fett herself.

Krrsantan also worked for Jabba den Hutten and is now out and about with Jabba’s still nameless cousins. In the “Darth Vader” comics, however, a close relationship developed between Krrsantan and Doctor Aphra, a figure very popular with fans. As a rebellious archaeologist, Aphra (actually: Chelli Lona Aphra) is a mixture of Han Solo and Lara Croft and also worked for Vader, actually following her own goals.

After faking her death to escape Vader, Aphra and Krrsantan went on adventures in her own comic series. These comics are part of the “Star Wars” canon, but Aphra has never appeared outside of the comics.

That could change now, because it is not yet known where Doctor Aphra is at the time of “The Book of Boba Fett” and thus after the collapse of the empire. Did she and Black Krrsantan part ways permanently, or is Aphra very close?

As a popular figure, but still unknown to most viewers, an appearance by Doctor Aphra could be worthwhile. She also has enough potential for her own series on Disney +, although Disney will certainly only wait to see how the audience reacts to Aphra’s appearance.

At least one can be certain that Black Krrsantan will ultimately prove to be an ally for Boba. Incidentally, Krrsantan was previously mentioned in an alleged story leak about the series, but there was no mention of Aphra or the Hutten cousins. So it will be interesting to see how the Disney + novelty program will continue.
