Boeing reduces its losses in the first quarter


(AOF) – In the first quarter of 2024, Boeing’s turnover fell 8% to $16.6 billion. Over this period, the aircraft manufacturer posted an operating loss of $86 million compared to a loss of $149 million a year ago for the same period. The group reduced its net loss in this quarter year-on-year, from 425 (a loss of $0.69 per share) to $355 million (a loss of $0.56 per share). The adjusted loss per share came to $1.13, compared to a FactSet consensus of -$1.63.

Commercial aircraft deliveries fell by 36% this quarter: 83 compared to 130 in the first quarter of 2023.
