U2 singer Bono takes on the role of speaking in the sequel to the animated film "Sing 2". He will lend his voice to a rock legend.

"Sing 2" has won more stars for its cast: U2 singer Bono (60) will lend his voice to a character from the animated film. The musician is making his animated film debut. Actress Letitia Wright (27, "Black Panther") and singer Pharrell Williams (47) will also speak roles such as Universal and Illumination have now announced.

In "Sing", a group of animals entered a singing competition. In the sequel, the animal stars around Koala Buster Moon want to prove their talent outside of their theater. In his animated film debut, Bono portrays the lion and rock legend Clay Calloway, who lives in seclusion after the death of his wife. Buster Moon tries to convince him to appear on the show.

Bobby Cannavale (50), Chelsea Peretti (42), Halsey (26) and Eric Andre (37) will also take on new voices. The existing cast with Matthew McConaughey (51), Reese Witherspoon (44), Scarlett Johansson (36), Taron Egerton (31) and Nick Kroll (42) is also back. "Sing 2" is set to celebrate its cinema premiere on December 22, 2021.
