The canton of Nidwalden offers vaccinations in the old armory in Oberdorf over the festive period. It will open on December 28th and 29th. Zug residents can get vaccinated at the vaccination center in Baar. This is only closed on December 25th and January 1st during the holidays. On December 24th and 31st you can get vaccinated in Baar between 7:10 am and 1:00 pm, and on December 26th and January 2nd between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Otherwise, the normal opening times of the vaccination center apply. First vaccinations are possible without registration; Advance registration is required for booster vaccinations.

UR: In the hospital, vaccinations are also carried out over the holidays

In the canton of Uri, all people aged 16 and over who received their second vaccination at least four months ago are eligible for the booster vaccination. During the festive season, you can get boosted in the Uri Cantonal Hospital. “In the canton hospital vaccinations are also carried out between Christmas and New Years”, said health director Christian Arnold in a press release. You can register online or call 041 875 50 70. You can also get boosted spontaneously in the Altdorf arsenal until the evening of December 23rd.

GL: Dates still available over the festive period

In Glarus, people are encouraged to register for the booster vaccination as soon as possible. This could make a significant contribution to reducing virus circulation and prevent further stress on hospitals. According to a press release, vaccination appointments are still available for the time being and over the holidays.

SZ & OW: Obwalden is open almost every day

The vaccination center in Obwalden is open every day, except on December 24th, 25th and 26th, as the canton will announce upon request. In the canton of Schwyz, vaccinations are used in hospitals. Schwyz Hospital vaccinates between December 27th and 30th. Laughing you can get vaccinated again from December 27th to 30th and then from January 3rd. The vaccination center in Einsiedeln Hospital is closed on December 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st.
