BOOSTHEAT: BOOSTHEAT READY FOR THE FIRST LABORATORY PERFORMANCE TESTS OF ITS BRAND NEW HYBRID COMPRESSOR – 01/09/2024 at 08:00

Vénissieux, January 9, 2024

BOOSTHEAT (FR001400IAM7 / ALBOO), a French industrial and software player in energy efficiency, announces, in accordance with the ambitious schedule of its roadmap, that it is ready for the first functional and performance tests of the hybrid compressor.

I FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

As part of its roadmap unveiled on 1

er

half-year 2023, all teams of the activity “

Thermal Compression Solutions

(TCS)” is engaged in the development program of a brand new hybrid compressor fully exploiting BOOSTHEAT’s patented technologies and responding to the major challenge of the hybridization of primary energies

[1]

.

This mobilization made it possible to maintain an ambitious schedule for the second half of 2023 and to remove all the technical obstacles one after the other. Thus, BOOSHEAT is proud to announce the finalization of the theoretical stage of development of the hybrid compressor and the arrival of a first prototype on a 1/1 scale.

The assembly of the thermal compressor and the positive displacement compressor constituting the hybrid compressor was carried out in the BOOSTHEAT workshops and confirms that the Company has all the necessary expertise and equipment following its strategic refocusing.

The prototype is ready for the first functional tests and the year 2024 can begin with the first performance tests in the BOOSTHEAT laboratory specially equipped for these tests.

I PERFORMANCE TESTS

In the coming weeks, performance tests will validate the 3 operating modes of the hybrid compressor, in order to confirm the theoretical potential of this patented compressor.

[2]

:

  1. The possibility of combining the 2 primary energies (gas and electricity) in a flexible and intelligent manner according to different criteria chosen by the customer (cost of energy / availability / etc.);

  2. The production of heat or cold which can be coupled with modular electricity production (micro-cogeneration application);

  3. The use of a “booster” effect simultaneously combining the two primary energy sources to increase the levels of heat or cold produced by the hybrid system.

The Company will communicate as these tests are carried out on each operating mode and its performance.

I HEADING TOWARDS THE DEMONSTRATOR

All these steps are major advances and open the way to commercial developments for innovative and efficient industrial applications.

As such, as announced in its roadmap, BOOSTHEAT aims to stay one step ahead of the objective of carbon neutrality in 2050, by working on new primary energies such as biogas, biomethane as well as hydrogen. Thus, one of the development avenues explored concerns the production of biomethane and biogas using methanization technology.

Indeed, in a traditional methanization installation, 25% of the biogas produced is burned in order to generate heat and maintain the process temperature. BOOSTHEAT technology, much more efficient than traditional means of heat production (boiler, cogeneration), makes it possible to consume less biogas during the methanization process and therefore to increase the quantity of recoverable biogas. It also contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions with a fuel, biogas, from the biological methanization process.

Warning :

The company BOOSTHEAT has set up financing in the form of ORA with the company Impact Tech Turnaround Opportunities (ITTO), which, after having received the shares resulting from the reimbursement or exercise of these instruments, is not intended to remain a shareholder of the company.

The shares resulting from the redemption or exercise of the above-mentioned securities will, in general, be sold in the market very quickly, which may create strong downward pressure on the share price.

Shareholders may suffer a loss of their invested capital due to a significant decrease in the value of the company’s stock, as well as significant dilution due to the large number of securities issued to the company Impact Tech Turnaround Opportunities (ITTO).

Investors are advised to be very vigilant before making the decision to invest in the securities of the company admitted to trading which carries out such dilutive financing transactions, particularly when they are carried out successively. The company recalls that this dilutive financing operation is not the first that it has implemented.
