Boostheat: reduced loss with lower loads – 01/11/2023 at 12:12

(CercleFinance.com) – The energy efficiency specialist Boostheat announced on Wednesday that it had reduced its operational loss by more than a third in the first half thanks to a sharp reduction in its operating costs.

The group, at the origin of a thermal compressor which makes it possible to optimize energy consumption, reported this morning an operating loss of just over three million euros for the 1st half-year, compared to -4.7 million euros a year earlier.

In its press release, Boostheat explains that it has benefited from its strategic repositioning, which resulted in a 15% reduction in its payroll, with a workforce reduced from 28 to 12 employees.

Its external costs (rent, advice, etc.) have decreased by 29%.

For Hugo Brugière, its CEO, these performances validate the roadmap put in place as part of the safeguard plan supported by its holding company HBR Investment Group since last May.

After jumping in the first exchanges, Boostheat shares lost more than 9% on Wednesday as midday approached.
