Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie are expecting their second child together. There were not only positive reactions to this.

New baby happiness for Boris Johnson (57) and his wife Carrie (33)! The two are expecting their second child together, according to the 33-year-old British media reports announced on her private Instagram account. While numerous users congratulated, there was not only congratulations for the couple on social media.

A Twitter user joked aboutthat she couldn’t believe Johnson was getting “more action” than she and most of her friends. Another wonderedhow to expect the UK Prime Minister to use a condom properly when he couldn’t even handle an umbrella. As reported by the Daily Mail, some users would also have used anonymous accounts to make more “hideous jokes” at the expense of Johnson and his wife.

Carrie Johnson had a miscarriage

The second baby of the two is expected to be born around Christmas, Carrie Johnson said. In 2020 their son Wilfred saw the light of day. Boris Johnson already has four grown children from a previous marriage. At the end of May 2021, the politician and his Carrie tied the knot in a private ceremony in London’s Westminster Cathedral. According to media reports at the time, only 30 guests are said to have been on site.

She feels “incredibly blessed to be pregnant again,” wrote Johnson, but she also felt like a nervous wreck at times. At the beginning of the year she suffered a miscarriage, which broke her heart. “Fertility problems can be very difficult for many people,” especially when it can appear on Instagram and comparable platforms that everything is “always going well”. For Johnson it was very comforting to “hear from people who have also suffered a loss”. Therefore, she hopes that by sharing this news, she will be able to help others too.
