Queen Elizabeth II “is in very good shape”
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has spoken out on the Queen’s health. The British Queen is “in very good shape”.
On the advice of her doctors, Queen Elizabeth II (95) has withdrawn for the time being. The monarch should take it easy for about two weeks, it was said last Friday on the part of Buckingham Palace. Now Prime Minister Boris Johnson (57) has commented on the health of the 95-year-olds – and can apparently give the all-clear.
“I have spoken to Her Majesty as part of my job every week and she is in very good shape,” said the head of government to the ITV broadcaster on the sidelines of the G20 summit at the weekend. Her doctors told her that she had to take it easy, the politician reveals. “We should all respect and understand that. Everyone wishes her the best,” said Johnson.
Two weeks of rest for the Queen
According to the palace, the Queen could continue to perform “light desk duties”, including virtual audiences. The British Queen should avoid traveling at the moment. The monarch regrets that she cannot keep an appointment on November 13th. Her Majesty is determined to attend a memorial service on Remembrance Sunday on November 14th. The queen’s doctors ordered this renewed rest as a “precautionary measure”. Queen Elizabeth II is therefore still in good shape.
The Queen recently canceled a trip to Northern Ireland and spent one night in the hospital. The palace had justified the stay in the clinic with “preliminary examinations”.
