The construction, telecommunications and media group posted current operating profit of 492 million euros ($505.23 million) for the six months to June, beating analysts’ median forecast of 409 million euros, according to a survey carried out by the company.
It now expects Bouygues Telecom’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) after leases to increase by more than 8% in 2022, compared to around 7% previously.
In addition, Bouygues Telecom has replaced its revenue growth target for services in 2022 of around 5% with a growth target for revenue billed to customers of more than 5%, which it considers “more representative of his performance”.
