BOX-OFFICE FROM DECEMBER 29, 2021 TO JANUARY 4, 2022: THE TOP 10

Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to attract people to dark rooms! For its 3rd week of operation, it recorded over a million new entries. The Marvel film now has 5,617,952 tickets sold and could soon exceed Spider-Man 3 (6,336,433 admissions), or even Spider-Man (6 459 120). It is in any case already better than Avengers: Infinity War which had finished its career with 5,196,846 entries.

Just behind, All in scene 2 was also full of spectators again. 613,995 people discovered the animated film during the last 7 days, increasing its total to 1,787,582.

Then a novelty closes the podium: The King’s Man: First Mission. Its score (336,793 entries) is nevertheless well below the previous opus of the franchise piloted by Matthew Vaughn. The first Kingsman had indeed finished its first week with 566,643 tickets sold and the second at 641,173.

The only other top 10 novelty is comedy The test with Alexandra Lamy, who does not shine particularly since she attracted only 150,143 curious people. No miracle either for Matrix Resurrections which after a disappointing start already falls to 6th place in the standings with only 223,335 additional torn tickets.

It is worse than The Tuche 4 (258,667 for its 4th week) and Encanto (249,069 in 6th week). The first has now passed the 2 million threshold and the second is approaching 2.5 million.

Note also the very good word of mouth in favor of the documentary The Snow Leopard, which allows him to grab a place in the ranking. The feature film with Sylvain Tesson has already exceeded 300,000 admissions.
