Dreadful! A 40-year-old had an accident with a tractor on Wednesday afternoon in Losenstein (Bezikr Steyr-Land), very drunk, in which his nine-year-old son was seriously injured.
According to the police, the man was on the tractor with his son at around 3:45 p.m. At an intersection in the Aichmühlgraben area, the tractor came off the road and overturned several times on a steeply sloping embankment.
Neighbors saw the boy lying on the meadow a few meters away from the tractor. The father climbed out of the cab and came to his son’s aid. The nine-year-old was flown to a hospital with the C15 rescue helicopter with serious injuries, and his father was taken to the Steyr hospital. There an alcohol test showed 1.76 per mille.
