Queen guitarist Brian May contracted the corona virus. How he is now, he revealed on Instagram.

Queen guitarist Brian May (74) contracted the corona virus. The musician has that announced on Instagram. There he posted two photos of his test kid on which two red lines can be clearly seen. “Yes. Finally the shocking day came for me. The dreaded double red line,” writes May.

It was “really terrible days” for him, but he is fine and he does not want “pity” from his fans. Instead, he appeals, “Please be careful out there, dear people. This thing is incredibly contagious. You don’t want it to mess up your Christmas.”

So is Brian May now

In other posts, May reports on the course of his corona infection, which apparently occurred over a week ago. “Day 7 – and it seems to me that the Covid-positive line is less strong today”, he writes to a selfiewhere he looks a bit tired, but still smiles at the camera. “So I have the feeling that with the tremendous help of three Pfizer vaccinations my immune system is now winning the fight against the intruder. So don’t worry, there is life after Covid,” said the optimistic guitarist.

In the meantime, May seems to have completely recovered. In his last two postings he reported back with the words “Life after the double red line”. In a first video he surprises his followers with a rocking guitar solo.

In a second clip he once again speaks in detail about his medical history and thanks his “great wife Anita – who was a warrior while I mostly slept through it”. You took care of him and “kept everything together,” he enthuses. “Who could be as lucky as I am?” He asks in conclusion and wishes his fans a “healthy and peaceful Christmas”.
