The Bridgerton Chronicle owes its phenomenal success on Netflix to its tales of family and royalty, its passionate romances in costumes and its sultry sex scenes. The elders of the Bridgerton siblings, at the heart of the series, were treated to a few sequences that remained in their memory and the actors naturally prepared for the show, season 2 of which is now available on the platform.
Corn The Sun reveals to us that one of the actors wrongly prepared for a sex scene that was not intended for him! The producers of the series had asked Luke Thompson, the interpreter of Benedict Bridgerton, to prepare for sex scenes with the help of a personal trainer when he received the scripts.

Except that they didn’t give him the right scenarios, for the simple reason that they confused Luke Thompson with Luke Newton, who plays Colin Bridgerton, one of Benedict’s brothers!
Nicola Coughlan, the interpreter of Penelope Featherington aka the avid gossip columnist Lady Whistledown, remembered this hilarious imbroglio:

Luckily the team realized the mistake but poor Luke Thompson was disappointed in the confusion. The producers nevertheless allowed him to keep the personal trainer, Benedict Bridgerton being most certainly the main protagonist of season 3 of The Bridgerton Chronicle, if the series follows the order of the Julia Quinn books from which it is drawn.
In the meantime, season 2, posted on Netflix this Friday, March 25, is centered on the love quest of the eldest Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), determined to marry but torn between the convenience of a union with the suitable wife that could be Edwina Sharam (Charithra Chandran) and her burning desire for sister Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).
