Telegram wants to cooperate with the federal government
As part of its action, the Federal Ministry of the Interior has made direct contact with the management of the messenger service Telegram. This was confirmed by Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser on Twitter. State Secretary Markus Richter spoke via video conference with representatives from the top management of Telegram, reports the editorial network Germany. The top of Telegram declared their greatest possible willingness to cooperate with the German authorities. Together with the State Criminal Police Offices, the Federal Criminal Police Office now wants to observe how Telegram cooperates with deletion suggestions and inventory data queries in the area of politically motivated crime.

Facebook plans to change ad tracking

New organization to protect the night sky
The International Astronomical Union has launched a new center to protect the night sky in the face of satellite megaconstellations, allowing thousands of orbiting satellites and astronomy to coexist successfully. In the facility, an international team involving all observatories in the world is to look for technical solutions to “best deal with the interference” emanating from the satellites, explains the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy (MPIfR), which is also involved.
