“Jean-Louis and Sami were, I believe, the greatest loves of my life, the most important, the deepest, the most irreplaceable ”, declared Brigitte Bardot to Gala, during an exclusive interview published on Thursday, January 6. Jean-Louis Trintignant is well known, but who is Sami Frey? One of BB’s two greatest loves is a French actor born in 1937. A native of Paris, Sami Frey trained as an actor by integrating the Cours Simon. It will become later the companion of Delphine Seyrig, muse of the New Wave, cinematographic movement of the late 1950s.
Claude Sautet will offer Sami Frey the most beautiful role of his career in “César et Rosalie”, where the handsome dark brown falls in love with Romy Schneider. But it is nevertheless “The Truth” which made his career take off. It is also there where he met Brigitte Bardot.

Sami Frey is now 84 years old, and still lives in Paris.
