The 67-year-old David F. * had access to morgues as a hospital electrician. When the police find out about him, he pleads guilty to the murders of two 20 and 25 year old women in Kent in southern England. After the deeds, he is said to have offended their corpses.
At the trial he had also admitted 51 other crimes, including 44 desecrations. However, investigators believe the man sexually abused at least 98 bodies in the morgues of a Kent hospital. “The Sun” writes that evidence shows that there are 98 women’s corpses that the 67-year-old desecrated.
New DNA put investigators on his trail
The man was arrested on suspicion of murder at the end of 2020 after investigators tracked him down thanks to new DNA findings. During a search of his home, the police found hard drives with photos and film recordings of the desecration of the corpses.
According to the judiciary, the man had filmed and photographed himself between 2008 and 2020 as he abused the corpses of dozens of women and girls in the hospital’s morgues.
So far, 78 bodies identified
He had access to the rooms through his job as an electrician. 78 of the bodies have so far been identified, including three minors and several women over 85 years of age.
The charges against him are unprecedented in British legal history, said Libby Clarck of the CPS Prosecution. Health Minister Sajid Javid was deeply shocked by the acts and announced a review of access to morgues. (SDA / euc)
