The deceased couple’s house, which became the focal point of a number of mysterious incidents, also plays an important role. In 2003 Murphy bought the Los Angeles property fully furnished from Britney Spears. She lived here for almost six years – until her death on the morning of December 20, 2009. Brittany was found lifeless in her master bathroom. Before that, she complained of flu-like symptoms for days and then collapsed. Mysterious circumstances of death and the thing with the mold
Two months after her tragic death, LA County’s Forensic Medicine, Ed Winter, announced the cause of death: Murphy was the result of untreated pneumonia combined with anemia [Blutarmut, Anm. d. Red.] and drug poisoning from prescription and over-the-counter Medication died.
Simon Monjack also passed away on the estate in 2010, just five months after Brittany’s death. His cause of death: also acute pneumonia and severe anemia. There has been speculation that the couple’s death may be related to mold growth in their home, but that theory was rejected by the coroner’s office in 2010.
Simon’s mother, Linda Monjack, fueled this theory when she told the Daily Mail in 2013 that her son had found “serious mold” in the apartment before his death: “All I know is that he had hallucinations before Simon’s death, that things crept out of his skin. “

Brittany’s bathroom: place of death and the only “comfort zone” in the house
Brittany Murphy took her last breath in her favorite room: the bathroom. The interesting thing is that she didn’t like the rest of the rooms. She always had the feeling that something was wrong with the property. Her husband said this in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter magazine shortly after her death in January 2010. His wife tried to avoid the house at all costs.
“She hated the Rising Glen house,” Monjack continued, “Every time we drove up Sunset, Brit said, ‘Please, can we stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel?’” Murphy said he was even planning to go to New Moving to York and raising a family there. Her only “comfort zone” in the house is said to have been Brittany’s bathroom, where she is said to have spent hours with beauty, magazines and singing – and ultimately passed away.

Pop star Britney Spears, who lived in the house during her relationship with Justin Timberlake, 40, is also said to have experienced things that could be scenes from a horror movie. Spears’ former make-up artist Julianne Kaye shared the incident on an episode of the podcast “We Need To Talk About Britney” in February 2021.
One evening several years ago, the singer is said to have called Julianne and said that a friend had had a healing session with her. When he left, Britney swore on the phone that he “opened a ghost portal or something. The evil spirits came in” and they tried to push her down the stairs, “recalls the celebrity make-up artist, saying,” It was so bad that she left “and never came back.
After becoming known as the site of the mysterious deaths of Brittany and her husband Simon, it changed hands several times. According to real estate records, the property was sold in 2011 at a massive loss, People reported.
