On March 7, 1971, the first episode of "Sendung mit der Maus" flickers on TV sets at home. Around 50 years later, the exciting laughing and non-fictional stories still inspire children and adults – it is no longer possible to imagine the television landscape without mice, elephants and the like.
Armin Maiwald is always by her side. The author and television producer is one of the inventors of the show with the mouse and always explains complicated facts, objects and phenomena to viewers in a simple and understandable way for everyone. Since 1983 Christoph Biemann can also be seen regularly on the show with the mouse. His green sweater, which he wears in almost all of his series appearances, is legendary – his absolute trademark. The team of moderators for the show with the mouse also completes Ralph Caspers, who has been with us since 1999.
