The son of David Beckham, 46, is marrying into a family whose personal fortune is estimated at a whopping $1.7 billion (about €1.55 billion). But who exactly is behind this incredible sum, which easily eclipses even the Beckham’s wealth?

Brooklyn Beckham: This is his future father-in-law

Nicola’s father is none other than Nelson Peltz, 79. The hedge fund manager and entrepreneur has already invested in well-known brands such as Pepsi, Mondelēz and HJ Heinz Company. Peltz even served as a director at two of the companies. Peltz is considered a business mogul – his areas of expertise are the food industry and restaurant chains. In 2022, Nelson Peltz is said to have bought shares in Unilever as an investor. According to Forbes, Peltz’s company, Trian Fund Management, currently manages assets of $8.5 billion.

Nelson Peltz is still active in his business. Although the entrepreneur is celebrating his 80th birthday this year, he doesn’t seem to be thinking about retiring. After all, Peltz worked hard to build his empire. In 1963 he dropped out of college and started working as a delivery truck driver for his grandfather’s food company. Nelson Peltz then – with his father’s permission and the support of his brother Robert B. Peltz – continued to expand the company, bought shares in other companies and gradually acquired his current fortune.

But Nelson Peltz is by no means the only one in the family who can look back on a successful career. Nicola’s mother Claudia Heffner Peltz also contributed to the fortune. The 67-year-old is a former model who not only landed many campaigns in the USA, but also graced numerous covers and conquered the catwalks of well-known designers: inside. Meanwhile, Claudia is no longer active in the industry. Instead, she is involved with many charities and is said to be the mastermind behind her children’s careers. Claudia Heffner Peltz is the third wife of the business mogul.

Due to the high private wealth of the Peltz family, but of course also the Beckham fortune – after all, David and Victoria Beckham, 47, have around 380 million pounds (around 452 million euros) – Nicola and Brooklyn signed a watertight marriage contract before the wedding.
