LE FIGARO. – The Omicron wave hits France. What will be the impact on growth of the new restrictions?

Bruno THE MAYOR. – Low impact. Omicron will obviously disrupt our social life in the month of January, but we have taken the necessary measures to avoid the disorganization of our economy. I remain very confident for French growth: we are starting the year with a solid gain of 2.2% and our economy is fully benefiting from the fundamental reforms undertaken since 2017. I therefore maintain our growth forecast for 2022 at 4%. We are providing targeted and rapid assistance to the sectors affected by the restrictions. I remain open to any additional device they could offer me, in particular on social security tax exemptions.

Does France still have the means for this aid?
